Love 2 Learn participates in consignment of products with valued partners.
How Consignment Works:
When a book on consignment is sold, you and Love
2 Learn each receive one-half of the selling price. Consignments are for twelve
(12) months. At the end of that time period, you will be asked to pick
up your items or give them to Love 2 Learn. We will pay you for any missing
items at that time. You may add/remove your books from consignment at any time
by signing them in or out; however, all items on tat list will expire at
the same time. We write checks during even months for $30.00
or more. Of course, you may pick up any money we owe you at any time
during the month. If you wish to have store credit only, please let us know.
We will be glad to give you a
"drop-off" receipt showing how many items you left at the store. You
will receive a computerized sheet which includes a list of your books and the
total price you will receive if they are sold. It is your
responsibility to contact Love 2 Learn if you have changed addresses
or phone numbers. If we cannot contact you at the end of your consignment
period, your remaining items will become the property of Love 2 Learn.
Love 2 Learn is not accepting the
following for consignment.
Switched on Schoolhouse Bob Jones or Abeka Videos/DVDs, anything
written in (name on cover is fine), any book with a missing cover, any old
editions, unless the student textbook/workbook is included. ***These items will be donated to the
public, unless you have specified otherwise on the consignment agreement.
***Please remove any personal price stickers from items before putting them on
consignment unless you are pricing your own books instead of letting Love 2
Learn do it.
How We Price Used
Curriculum
Love 2 Learn suggests pricing used homeschool
curriculum at one-half of retail price, providing that the
materials are in excellent condition (no writing, pages missing,
etc.); however, you may set your own prices if you wish,by providing us with a
detailed list of your materials and prices. You can help us by grouping books
that go together with a rubber band.
Some materials are in very high demand, such as:
Abeka consumable workbooks, Saxon Home Study Kits, Five in a Row, Learning
Language Arts Through Literature, Apologia, Spelling Power, Easy Grammar, and
Bob Jones science books, just to name a few. Love 2 Learn suggests selling
these items at 40% off retail price. Paperback classics sell well at half
price. Other paperbacks sell well or less than half price.
We're now accepting
school furniture, i.e. student desks, blackboards, etc.
Love 2 Learn no longer accepts: books
that are written in or missing pages, old edition keys unless the books they
are keys to are present, books with missing covers. We price public school and
secular readers very low. Sometimes customers will ask if we will take less for
an item. There is a place on the consignment agreement for you to check if you
give Love 2 Learn permission to take less. Please indicate how much less you
would take; i.e. 10% less, 20% less. You may drop off your items during
business hours (Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 12-5 p.m.).
