Homeschool Experience Appreciation

Jennifer Connolly grew up in Carencro. After graduating from Academy of the Sacred Heart, she attended college at then-USL and completed her degree at Loyola University in New Orleans. While earning her degree in education, she met her husband. They returned to Carencro in 1979.
"I became a stay-at-home mother and decided to homeschool my children when it was time for our oldest to begin school," she said.
Her three daughters were homeschooled from kindergarten through the 12th grade.
"My two oldest daughters have received their degrees from UL, and my youngest will begin college in the fall," Connolly said. "Our family has been so full and rich because of homeschooling. I am so proud and blessed to have been a part of my daughters' education. I saw them flourish in their studies and faith."
