Review: Study Guide was Helpful : I purchased the study Guide for 'The Hiding Place' because I was reading the book over a period of several weeks and meeting to discuss it with a group of middle school girls. The study guide did a good job of summarizing the historical setting of the book and giving me some ideas for questions to generate discussion. Since my group does not have an academic goal in discussing the book, many of the questions about vocabulary definitions were not applicable to us.
