Review: Okay : Barry Denenberg has done better than this, but I still thought it was an okay book. It was sort of cheesy. The conversations went like, "Here's your coat and hat? What's your hurry?" when people were leaving their home after a dinner party. They also start paragraphs for no reason, like they would just put "Yummy." I am not saying that that is wrong in any way, but I think that it is just kind of annoying, especially after talking about sweet potatoes and yams. This book is about a girl named Amber Billows who is 12 and lives with her Mother and Father and Brother, Andy. Andy likes planes and on December 7, 1941 his knowledge comes to use identifying the Japenese planes attacking Pearl Harbor. I thought that part was sort of weird, but, who cares. Well, you may want to read this book to find out.
