Review: The best. : Although this book is not going to replace Euclid's book "Elements," the majority of my knowledge in geometry is attributed to "Geometry the Easy Way." Don't expect to be a master at the subject in 30 days. Give yourself 2 to 3 months for a careful and slow learning. The result will ultimately be worth it as the book actually clears up everything that you've misunderstood about geometry. The reasons why you never did well in the geometry section ACT and SAT will be revealed to you in "Geometry the Easy Way." It was a surprise to me as well it will be for anyone else. I do not recommend Schaum's Outline for geometry because the book is very uninspiring and clustered up. "Geometry the Easy Way" breathes easily through the pages, and there are a lot of whitespace around the explanations, thus giving you the motivation to strive through the book and therefore learning geometry at an ease of pace. One mention about the difference in the two books, Schaum's and "Geometry the Easy Way", is the chapter on transformations. I am disppointed, but not that much, that "Geometry the Easy Way" omitted the chapter about transformations (which deals with dilations, rotations, reflections, and translations) because I honestly think that chapter is quite indispensable. Fortunately, Schaum's Outlines has that chapter. So, it does make sense to get both books to be thorough as possible, but I encourage you to rely on "Geometry the Easy Way" for building up your foundation in geometry before preparing yourself to tackle Euclid's "Elements."
