Review: Magnificent artwork : This picture book is a very good choice for parents who want their children to become familiar with Moses, Egypt, and the exodus. The illustrations are well done. I especially like Wildsmith's illustrations of the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire guiding the Hebrews day and night. The wording of the commandments on the end pages varies from the familiar King James Bible. For example: Wildsmith's says: "You must not steal" instead of "Thou shalt not steal."
