Review: I am done with SuperNanny! : I have three daughters and have always thought of myself as a good mother. I have tried to be consistant, teaching them right and wrong, praying for them, with them, teaching them biblical things, but we were still resulting in out-of-control fits and rages that left my husband and I (and my in-laws) at such a loss as to what to do and how to handle it. I had a friend recommend this book, and out of complete desperation we bought it and read it. The lights went on, and I feel like I have been given understanding on what it means to be a parent, according to God. I am still working on breaking old habits of disciplining and behavior, but as I am applying the biblical truths that Pastor Tripp speaks of in this book, I am finding myself empowered and at peace with my parenting. I feel proud of myself and after 3 months of really applying things I have learned, we are really beginning to see sprouts of the new seeds we have planted and the old crop of improper, unbiblical parenting is fading away. I thank God for bringing this my way and for the wisdom of Tedd Tripp to speak such a timely message in a culture that opposes such truth. I hope you will find it as revolutionizing as I have. -A pastors wife :)
