Review: Great way to teach your child how to read! : I taught both of my sons (both 4 when we first started) how to read using Explode the Code. The books are well organized and use lots of repetition without boring the kids. Also the sentences used in the books are often humorous which keep my kids laughing. My only pet peeve about these books is that in a few cases, the drawings could have been better. However, overall, I highly recommend parents who would like to teach their children how to read to use Explode the Code.
