Review: don't bother : Let me start by saying I'm as right wing conservative as they come, but this was even too much for me! This book is SO religious based, over the top, and non main stream. It made me uncomfortable and actually started to turn me away from homeschooling. It made homeschooling seem so different that I started to feel afraid to do it. So much talk about spanking kids and then the part about ADHD being caused by too much TV!!! Come on. That is frustrating and obviously from someone who knows nothing about these kids. My own son never watched TV, we only have it now hooked to a video for educational movies (bill nye, etc.) and he has terrible ADHD. Don't bother with this book if you are looking for a resource that will make you feel comfortable with your decision to homeschool. This made me feel like a freak. And it's a very dry boring read to boot.
