Review: If you can't get past bible quotes, don't get this book : While I give credit to the goal and objectives of this book-- teaching your children about good decision-making, working as a team, self-esteem, self-sufficiency-- the bible references can be a little hard to swallow for the secular parent who's homeschooling their child not for religious reasons, or just wants to use the materials offered in this book. If you can't stomach comments in the 'spiritual habits' chapter such as 'The Bible is clear that homosexuality is a perversion'(with the scripture refernces to prove it) or a Life Skills checklist of whether everyone has their own bibles (despite the quick comment earlier to letting your kids 'study' other religions if they're curious) , then you may not want to contribute to the royalty check the author will receive from purchase of this book.
