Review: Mrs. Pine Is Finally Here! : This book Mrs. Pines takes a trip brings back very fond memories of my childhood(1970's). My youngest brother ordered it from a book club at school. I would often read the book to him at bedtime. It helped me improve on my reading skills with it's repetition. Mrs. Pine leaves Mr. Pine a to do list of chores while she is on her trip. Mr. Pine misplaces the list. He doesn't seem to focus on the missing list or the mess he is creating. Mrs. Pine is returning home the next day, he hasn't found the list and the house is a tremendous mess! As a child I could not understand why he just could not see the mess he was creating and clean it(sounds like my husband). I do remember the humor and Mr. Pine's procrastination. I have ordered the book to share with my kindergarten class-they will appreciate it's humor! Thank you, Mr. Leonard Kessler for your literary contributions!
