Review: Non-stressful Independent Study: We use this book as an independent study workbook for my six year old daughter. She was reading at three ("Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons") and simple books like these keep various blends in front of her. Completing Phonics books, reading for enjoyment (Rod & Staff), and taking dictation (as I read scriptures from the King James Bible) eliminates the need for a spelling class.
