Review: good for avoiding spanglish: I have been learning Spanish for just about 4 months as my third language and I have already found this book useful. This is a very good book for pointing out false cognates, even for beginning spanish students. By using this book you can avoid misusing spanish words that looks like their english equivalents at very early stage of learning spanish. The list in this book is much much longer and detailed than the short lists given in any spanish grammar book and alike. The most famous example is probably the word "actual". You can search inside the book in this website to see the layout. Well, false cognates exist between different languages. They also exist between Japanese and Chinese.
